The Celtics defeated the Lakers 111-101 with Jayson Tatum scoring 40 points to go with 12 rebounds and eight assists, while Jaylen Brown scored 31 points.

The game was Luka Doncic’s first at the Celtics since his trade to the Lakers. Doncic faced the Celtics during last year’s Finals as a member of the Dallas Mavericks.
