On a night when Olli Jokinen became Florida’s career leader in goals and points, it was checking-line center Gregory Campbell who made the difference. Jokinen scored twice to set the records before Campbell scored two consecutive goals to break a 2-all tie in the Panthers’ 4-3 victory over Philadelphia.

Kari Lehtonen made 30 saves and the Atlanta Thrashers completed the NHL preseason with a 1-0 shutout of the Florida Panthers on Friday night. The New York Rangers are getting plenty of offense from their defense. Rangers captain Ryan McDonagh scored twice and New York defeated the Detroit Red Wings 4-1 on Sunday night for its NHL-leading 25th road win. Derek Stepan got his first goal since Jan. 17, and Kevin Hayes also scored for the Rangers.
