Cavs finally make move, sign Devin Brown

The Cleveland Cavaliers signed free agent guard Devin Brown to a contract Saturday in their first offseason roster move. Brown averaged 11.6 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.6 assists — all career-highs — for the New Orleans Hornets last season. The 6-foot-5 Brown can play both guard positions as well as small forward.

Robert Covington made the go-ahead 3-pointer late in the fourth quarter to lead the Philadelphia 76ers to a 105-99 win over the Boston Celtics on Sunday. Dario Saric scored key baskets to extend the lead and bolster his bid for NBA Rookie of the Year.
