David Adelman Hired By Nuggets As Head CoachDavid Adelman Hired By Nuggets As Head Coach

David Adelman has agreed to become head coach of the Denver Nuggets on a permanent basis. Adelman, a longtime assistant coach to Michael Malone, was elevated to interim head coach toward the end of the regular season.

Adelman helped lead the Nuggets to a first round series win over the LA Clippers and then a seven-game series loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Adelman began his NBA career with the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2011 before a brief stint with the Orlando Magic and then joining the Nuggets in 2017.

Denver still hasn’t hired a general manager to replace Calvin Booth.

Top International Prospect Dame Sarr Commits To DukeTop International Prospect Dame Sarr Commits To Duke

Dame Sarr, the top international prospect, has committed to Duke. Sarr made his Spanish ACB league debut for Barcelona as a 16-year old in 2023, the second-youngest player in club history to do so. Sarr had a breakout showing in front of NBA scouts last month at the Nike Hoop Summit.

“Duke was my dream school,” Sarr said. “I watched a lot of NCAA games this season, especially Duke. I played with Jabari Parker this season, who went to Duke. When I had the chance to go there, I had to take it.”

“My ultimate goal is to play in the NBA, “Sarr continued. “There’s no better place to prepare you for that than Duke. For me to be as NBA-ready as possible, and become the best version of myself, I needed to have both experiences — playing for a pro team like Barcelona, and playing in a different type of professional environment like Duke against other players my age. Opportunity, minutes, repetition — this route is the best next step for me at this time.”

Sarr will be teammates with Cameron Boozer and Cayden Boozer.
