Bill Chisholm has a deal in place to purchase the Boston Celtics at a record $6.1 billion valuation. Chisholm spoke extensively with Brad Stevens last week before the Grousbeck family accepted his bid. “It’s the most incredible feeling to think that maybe I can just play a tiny little part in the future,” Chisholm said, “and now I’ll just let these guys do what they’re doing, let Brad do his thing. If I can help in any way, that’s amazing to think about.”

Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown had separate conversations with Chisholm and offered their congratulations.
