LeBron James was ruled out of Saturday’s game against the Pacers because of left ankle soreness, the Lakers announced.
Anthony Davis was forced to leave his debut game with the Dallas Mavericks early due to a lower body injury. Postgame, Davis said he felt a “little spasm” in his previous injured abdomen, but that the injury was “nothing serious”. Davis followed up by saying he was “very confident” that he didn’t suffer a setback in his recovery from the previous abdomen strain.
Davis got his Mavericks career off to a good start, helping Dallas to beat the Houston Rockets. In 31 minutes before exiting, the All-Star big man had 26 points, 16 rebounds, seven assists and three blocks.
