The Philadelphia 76ers have signed Max Fiedler. Fiedler most recently appeared in a pair of games for the 76ers during the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, averaging 2.0 points and 2.5 rebounds.

Prior to teaming up with the 76ers for summer action, Fiedler spent five collegiate seasons at Rice from 2019-24, averaging 9.3 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 3.9 assists.

Jimmy Butler could become a free agent next offseason and “likes Brooklyn,” source close to him tell Brian Lewis of the New York Post.

Butler has a player option for 25-26 after he and the Miami Heat were unable to agree to terms on a contract extension. Butler joined the Heat from the Philadelphia 76ers in a 2019 sign-and-trade.

Butler signed a four-year, $181 million extension with the Heat during the 2021 offseason.

The Nets are embarking on a rebuild after trading Mikal Bridges and reacquiring many of their future draft picks.

The Philadelphia 76ers have signed Judah Mintz. Mintz most recently appeared in eight games for the 76ers between the Salt Lake City Summer League and NBA 2K25 Summer League in Las Vegas, averaging a combined 9.5 points and 1.5 assists.

Across two seasons at Syracuse, Mintz appeared in 64 games (63 starts), averaging 17.5 points, 4.5 assists, and 2.0 steals. As a sophomore, he was second in the ACC with an average of 18.8 points per game, while his 4.4 assists were fourth in the conference. Following the season, Mintz was selected to the All-ACC Second Team.
