The Utah Jazz used their remaining $3 million in cap space to sign Kyle Filipowski to a four-year, $12 million deal. The deal is the largest for a player selected in the second round over the past two seasons. Filipowski’s first year salary is approximately the same as the 22nd overall pick.
Filipowski, who is represented by Kyle McAlarney and Mark Bartelstein, was a green room invite and expected to be a first round pick.
In eight Summer League games, Filipowski averaged 11.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 22.2 minutes.

The Utah Jazz have signed forward Oscar Tshiebwe to a Two-Way contract. In a related move, the team has waived guard Taevion Kinsey.
Tshiebwe (6-9, 260, Kentucky) spent the 2023-24 season on a two-way deal with the Indiana Pacers-appearing in eight NBA games and averaging 3.3 points and 2.0 rebounds in 5.3 minutes per game. He was named Kia NBA G League Rookie of the Year and All-NBA G League First Team after appearing in 23 regular season games (21 starts) for the Indiana Mad Ants and averaging 16.2 points, 16.0 rebounds, and 1.5 assists in 27.2 minutes per contest.
Kinsey (6-5, 190, Marshall) appeared in 34 regular season games (23 starts) in one season with the Salt Lake City Stars, averaging 11.8 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 2.2 assists in 30.8 minutes per game.
