The LA Clippers will open Intuit Dome for their first regular season game on October 23rd against the Phoenix Suns, reports Shams Charania of The Athletic. The Clippers built their own arena in Inglewood after sharing Crypto.com Arena with the Los Angeles Lakers since the 99-00 season.

Intuit Dome opens this week with a Bruno Mars concert. Inuit Dome will also host the 2026 NBA All-Star Game and basketball during the 2028 Summer Olympics.

Construction cost $2 billion and was financed privately by Steve Ballmer.

The Phoenix Suns have hired Oronde Taliaferro as their Director of Scouting. Taliaferro will focus on college scouting for the Suns.

Taliaferro was a scout for the Brooklyn Nets last season and was previously a scout with the Detroit Pistons for more than a decade before that.

The NBA will open its 24-25 regular season on TNT with a doubleheader of the New York Knicks at Boston Celtics followed by the Minnesota Timberwolves at Los Angeles Lakers.

The Celtics will receive their rings and raise their championship banner ahead of their game against the Knicks.
