The NBA has held discussions about extending the draft over the course of two days beginning as early as 2024.
Since going to a two-round format, the draft has always been held over one evening with five minutes between each first round pick and two minutes between each second round pick.
Spreading the draft over two nights would allow executives to have more time between picks in both the first and second rounds.
Many of the second round picks are made during commercials, most notably Nikola Jokic during a Taco Bell commercial in 2014.
The Detroit Pistons have agreed to sign Kevin Knox to a one-year deal.
Knox split last season with the Pistons and Portland Trail Blazers. Knox was waived by the Blazers before the start of the regular season.
Bradley Beal has been upgraded to questionable for the Phoenix Suns game against the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday.
Beal has yet to appear this season due to back spasms.
Devin Booker has been ruled out for the third straight game due to a calf injury.
Terance Mann is expected to make his 23-24 regular season debut on Wednesday at the Brooklyn Nets. Mann will be on a minutes restriction.
Mann sprained his ankle shortly before the start of the season.
Mann was often mentioned in trade rumors for James Harden, but the Los Angeles Clippers managed to keep him out of their eventual deal. Mann was expected to be in the starting lineup this season, but the Clippers instead started Harden, Russell Westbrook, Kawhi Leonard, Paul George and Ivica Zubac in their first game together.
