Draymond Green will likely re-sign with the Golden State Warriors this offseason, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

“The idea of continuing with Steph Curry and Klay Thompson, and certainly Steve Kerr, I think it means the world to [Green]. It’s just a matter of negotiation. Is it a four-year deal? Is it a three-year deal?

“I don’t sense at all any real sense on either side that this could get sideways. It could happen, he becomes a free agent…but I think these sides are destined to reunite,” said Wojnarowski on SportsCenter.

Green declined his $27.5 million player option on Monday and will become an unrestricted free agent for the first time in his career.

The Portland Trail Blazers are pursuing a trade with the Miami Heat for Bam Adebayo, a source tells Jake Fischer of Sports Betting News.

The Blazers have explored what the No. 3 pick in the draft can yield in a trade and have maintained a high asking price.

Damian Lillard and Adebayo were teammates on Team USA for the 2020 Olympics and have developed a close friendship.

The Heat are unlikely to consider any approach from the Blazers unless it includes Shaedon Sharpe, the No. 3 pick and Anfernee Simons.

The Blazers don’t reportedly covet either Pascal Siakam or OG Anunoby with the No. 3 pick. Adebayo and Paul George are the types of targets the Blazers would deem worthy with the pick.

It is unclear how the Blazers value either Zion Williamson or Brandon Ingram as the New Orleans Pelicans continue to acquire Scoot Henderson.
