The Boston Celtics are expected to retain Joe Mazzulla as head coach next season.
Mazzulla has $14 million guaranteed on his contract over the next three seasons with the Celtics. Mazzulla was elevated to interim head coach and then permanent head coach in February.
Mazzulla will have the opportunity to hire his own coaching staff this offseason, which he was unable to do last September due to the nature of Ime Udoka’s suspension.
