The NBA suspended Draymond Green for Game 3 of the Golden State Warriors first-round series against the Sacramento Kings for stepping on Domantas Sabonis’ chest.
The league’s statement notes that part of the reason for the suspension is due to Green’s “history of unsportsmanlike acts.”
The incident in question occurred with 7:03 remaining in the fourth quarter of Game 2. Sabonis grabbed Green’s right ankle, to which Green responded with the step.
Green, who asked for an x-ray after the game, believed he injured his right ankle in the incident.
