Pope Francis met with NBA players at the Vatican on Monday, lauding them as ”champions” and saying he supported their work on social justice. The five players – Marco Belinelli, Sterling Brown, Jonathan Isaac, Kyle Korver and Anthony Tolliver – were joined in the delegation by NBA players’ union executive director Michele Roberts and two other union executives, Sherrie Deans and Matteo Zuretti.

Robert Streb now has two PGA Tour victories, both at Sea Island, both times winning in a playoff. Six years after he had to rally from a five-shot deficit, Streb failed to protect a three-shot lead Sunday and felt the RSM Classic slipping away until piecing together three big shots to beat Kevin Kisner, none bigger than his final full swing. ”We were planning on the ball kind of knuckling out of there and jumping,” Streb said.

Indiana is entering its fourth season under head coach Archie Miller on Wednesday against Tennessee Tech with high expectations. Indiana was on the brink of making the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2016 before the postseason was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Threats of games being postponed due to the pandemic still loom, but Indiana remains on track to start on time and continue a challenging non-conference schedule.
