The 2019 Korn Ferry Tour season came to a close Monday in Evansville, Indiana as the Korn Ferry Tour Championship presented by United Leasing & Finance wrapped up with a Labor Day finish. England’s Tom Lewis won the season-ending event in dominant fashion at 23-under, five strokes clear of second-place finisher Fabián Gómez. The first 25 cards were earned at the conclusion of the WinCo Foods Portland Open presented by KraftHeinz earlier this month, while the second set of cards were awarded at the conclusion of the three-event Finals. Scottie Scheffler won both the season-long and Finals Points Lists this season on the strength of two victories at the Evans Scholars Invitational and the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Championship. He is the first player to win both titles since Chesson Hadley accomplished the feat in 2017. Scheffler was steady throughout the 2019 season with 10 top-10 finishes and he also led the Korn Ferry Tour in birdies and scoring average.
