Wyndham Rewards Top 10 update: Tiger Woods moves to periphery of rewards zoneWyndham Rewards Top 10 update: Tiger Woods moves to periphery of rewards zone

Tiger Woods is still reveling in his Masters triumph – and will be for some time – but the good news continues for the 81-time PGA TOUR winner as he made a significant move towards the Wyndham Rewards Top 10. Woods jumped from 81st to 13th with his win at Augusta National and is now firmly in contention for an unprecedented third FedExCup title. There was some shuffling inside the Wyndham Rewards Top 10 also with Brooks Koepka finding his way back in after a runner-up finish. He jumped from 11th to sixth. Matt Kuchar still leads the way, but Xander Schauffele is now his nearest pursuer after he too gave the title a shake at Augusta. The top 10 in the standings after the Wyndham Championship — the final event of the PGA TOUR’s regular season — will receive a portion of the $10 million bonus in the new Wyndham Rewards Top 10 competition. First place after the Wyndham Championship will receive $2 million, followed by $1.5 million for second, all the way to $500,000 for 10th place, the final spot eligible for a bonus. Dustin Johnson also made a move from 10th to fifth with his share of second place, while Francesco Molinari’s climb continued from 16th to 12th. Former FedExCup champion Jordan Spieth finally made some headway, going from 170th to 142nd, but he still has a lot of work to do. LOOKING AHEAD Going into this week’s RBC Heritage, four of the top 10 players in the Wyndham Rewards Top 10 are in the field, including the leader Kuchar. Schauffele will look to steal top spot back, with Johnson and Charles Howell III also having designs on the top slot. Marc Leishman and Francesco Molinari are among those on the periphery looking in this week. Click here for full coverage of the Wyndham Rewards Top 10
