Yonder Alonso (Mr. 305) had given the Tribe a lead in the eighth with his second homer of the game — a two-run shot off reliever Brandon Maurer. Play was delayed for 30 minutes in the fourth inning when a water pipe burst near the Royals’ bullpen.
