Phillies right-hander Zach Eflin turned in a masterful performance, allowing four hits over seven innings to lead a shutout of the potent Yankees, who missed a sweep to finish 2-4 on their road trip. Phillies right-hander Zach Eflin had a masterful performance Wednesday night in a 3-0 victory over the Yankees at Citizens Bank Park. He allowed just four hits and two walks, while striking out six in seven innings. It was arguably his best performance of the season against arguably the best offense in baseball, helping the Phillies avoid a series sweep. Eflin went 5-0 with a 1.76 ERA in five starts in June.
