Dustin Johnson has a trio of major champions in his way at the Dell Technologies Match Play. Johnson is the No. 1 seed for the first time in Match Play, which starts Wednesday at Austin Country Club. The three players assigned to his round-robin group are PGA champion Jimmy Walker, two-time major champion Martin Kaymer and former U.S. Open champion Webb Simpson.

The New York Jets have turned to Josh McCown in their winter-long search for a quarterback. A person familiar with the one-year contract told Sports Betting News that the deal is for $6 million fully guaranteed, as first reported by ESPN and NFL Network. The person spoke to the AP on condition of anonymity because the Jets didn’t release financial terms.

Tom Brady’s missing Super Bowl jersey has been found in Mexico six weeks after it vanished from the Patriots’ locker room – but the mystery isn’t over. The NFL said the jersey was found in ”possession of a credentialed member of the international media,” and authorities were investigating Monday whether a former Mexican tabloid newspaper executive played a role in the theft. It wasn’t the only piece of memorabilia recovered: Authorities found a Brady jersey that had gone missing after the Patriots’ 2015 Super Bowl win over the Seattle Seahawks.

Kyle Larson finished second at Phoenix International Raceway and then headed to the beach for a brief family vacation. There was no lamenting his third consecutive runner-up finish because Larson is the current points leader of NASCAR’s top series. A two-tire stop put him in position to win Sunday at Phoenix in overtime, but a slip on the restart cost him any chance of running down leader Ryan Newman in the two-lap sprint to the finish.
