Adam Hadwin closed with two pars to win the Valspar Championship by one shot over Patrick Cantlay. Hadwin used a full bag of Callaway equipment — the same setup he used to shoot 59 at the CareerBuilder Challenge — to capture his first TOUR title, including the company’s GBB Epic driver and fairway wood. Hadwin started testing the new metalwoods during the offseason and put them in play at the beginning of the year. While the driver has an adjustable weight that can be set in numerous positions along the track, Hadwin prefers a neutral weight setup toward the middle of the clubhead.
