Coach Doc Rivers said Wednesday that Paul ”looked great” in practice a day earlier and the only remaining hurdle is how comfortable he feels after another practice. ”Overall, he was pretty aggressive,” Rivers said of Paul’s first practice in 4 + weeks on Tuesday, ”but it was clear as practice went on he got more and more aggressive.

Justin Thomas is walking a little taller this year at the Honda Classic. Thomas also has three victories, the most of anyone on the PGA Tour this season, and he set the tour’s 72-hole scoring record at the Sony Open that includes a 59. ”You look at people like DJ and Rory, I think it’s so cool watching them go walk around the golf course because they just look so unbeatable, and they have such great strides and such confidence just when they walk,” Thomas said.

DeMarcus Cousins says his prayers have been answered, although not necessarily in the way he expected. Ed Garvey, the lawyer who led the National Football League Players Association through strikes in 1974 and 1982, has died at age 76. The Capital Times reported that Garvey died Wednesday at a nursing home in Verona after a battle with Parkinson’s disease. Garvey was the players’ union counsel and executive director from 1971-83.
