The coach in Tomlin has just as big an issue with one of his team’s biggest stars forcing the Steelers to talk about something other than trying to find a way to finally beat Tom Brady when it counts.

In his last eight starts worldwide going back to last August, Ishikawa has six top 10s, including a win on the Japan Tour. Villegas jumped 138 spots (to 286th) in the Official World Golf Ranking when he tied for second at The RSM Classic last fall. He’s dropped back slightly since then after his missed cut at Sony. Tee times: Noon ET (1st-La Quinta); 11:30 a.m. ET (10th-Nicklaus); 1:10 p.m. ET (1st-Stadium) Paul Casey (27), Jason Dufner (129). Since winning the CareerBuilder last year, Dufner has three top-10s in 24 starts and comes off a missed cut at Sony. Casey also comes off a missed cut at Sony – his first missed cut in his last 10 starts that includes five top-10s. Creighton point guard and national assists leader Maurice Watson Jr. will miss the rest of the season because of a major knee injury, a huge blow for a team that is off to its best start and has hopes of making a deep postseason run. An MRI revealed a torn anterior cruciate ligament in Watson’s left knee. The senior was injured in the seventh-ranked Bluejays’ 72-67 win at Xavier on Monday.
