Titans quarterback Vince Young rested his strained right quadriceps Wednesday by watching practice, leaving the work to backup Kerry Collins. Young hurt his leg Sunday in the third quarter of a 13-10 loss to Tampa Bay as he sprinted to the sideline on a 2-yard gain. The Titans gave Young an MRI on Monday to determine how to treat the muscle and he has been trying to heal.

Allen Iverson scored 22 points to lead the Denver Nuggets to a 104-78 exhibition victory over the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday night at Green Bay’s Resch Center. Carmelo Anthony added 16 points for the Nuggets, who never trailed. Denver led 55-50 early in the third quarter before going on a 15-0 run. Charlie Bell led Milwaukee with 17 points, all in the first half.

Donaghy forfeits $30,000 as part of pleaDonaghy forfeits $30,000 as part of plea

Former NBA referee Tim Donaghy has forfeited $30,000 in restitution to the government under his plea deal in a basketball gambling scam. Donaghy, who admitted to betting on games he officiated, made the payment last month, according to court records. Robert Nardoza, a spokesman for the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Brooklyn which is prosecuting the case, confirmed the payment.
