Stanley Cup-winning goalie Tom Barrasso was hired as the Carolina Hurricanes’ director of goaltender development on Friday. Barrasso, who won consecutive Stanley Cups with the Pittsburgh Penguins in 1991 and ’92, will work with the goalies in Albany of the American Hockey League, Florida of the ECHL and several junior teams.
