Bonds hits 761st HR, Giants beat Brewers

Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Claudio Vargas, left, is pulled from the game by manager Ned Yost, right, in the first inning against the San Francisco Giants in a baseball game in San Francisco, Friday, Aug. 24, 2007. The Giants scored six runs in the inning.

The Giants’ slugger hit his 761st home run and pitcher Noah Lowry added three RBIs, helping San Francisco beat Milwaukee 11-6 Friday night and dropping the Brewers further back in the National League Central.
