May 5 Kentucky Derby Notes

Thursday was cool and partly cloudy with some sun, although it hid behind a cloud during the exclusive Derby and Oaks time, and the track was fast. Today they actually had to water the track during the harrow break which they hadn’t done the last two days. Almost all the Oaks and Derby horses came out today.
